Perfectly Imperfect

What I Meant to Say

Photography is the language I speak when words don’t reach far enough.

I make introspective, unconventional images that live somewhere between nature and emotion.

Artist Bio

I’m PAX Inc, a self-taught photographer based in New Zealand. For me, photography is more than just image-making—it’s a form of expression that cuts deeper than words. I began taking photos as a way to explore thoughts and emotions I couldn’t articulate, and that instinct still drives everything I create.

My work often blends macro nature photography with surreal or unexpected twists, bending perception and reality until they blur. I’m drawn to imperfection, darkness, and the quiet beauty in overlooked details. Each image is part introspection, part rebellion—an invitation to see the world differently, and to sit with the things we usually avoid.

Though I’m early in my journey, I’ve exhibited twice in the Cleveland Art Awards and continue to seek opportunities to share my work more widely. Whether through gallery shows, collaborations, or publications, my goal is to build a life around photography—one where I can travel, connect, and keep creating from a place of truth.

I don’t follow trends. I follow instinct, curiosity, and that creative hum that never quite goes quiet.
